REDE JUSTIÇA CRIMINAL
Created in 2010, the Rede Justiça Criminal is a coalition of nine Brazilian civil society organizations. Our goal is to contribute to the qualification of the public debate and to influence political decision making to reverse the logic of mass incarceration. We work to combat structural racism in the field of public security and act in favor of a criminal justice system that does not violate human rights and guarantees dignity to all citizens.
Mission
Protect fundamental rights through policies of decarceration and against the growth of the penal state operated by structural racism in the field of criminal justice and public security.
Vision
Building a free, fair, plural, and democratic society based on a criminal justice and public security policy guided by equality and effective rights.
