WE FIGHT TO REVERSE THE
LOGIC OF MASS INCARCERATION
AND FOR A JUSTICE SYSTEM
THAT DOES NOT VIOLATE
HUMAN RIGHTS

REDE JUSTIÇA CRIMINAL

Created in 2010, the Rede Justiça Criminal is a coalition of nine Brazilian civil society organizations. Our goal is to contribute to the qualification of the public debate and to influence political decision making to reverse the logic of mass incarceration. We work to combat structural racism in the field of public security and act in favor of a criminal justice system that does not violate human rights and guarantees dignity to all citizens.

We believe that a free, fair, plural, and democratic society
can only be built and strengthened when it is guided by
equality and the preservation of fundamental rights.
